Legs Mclaughlin is the name of a huge arachnid that lives inside an unusual tree near the swamp areas of Komoka Trails Provincial Park. Archie has only mentioned "Legs" a few times, and describes him as both surly and mischievous. He seems to enjoy scaring unsuspecting people who wander near his tree trunk home.
Legs was first discovered by Archie's Pop while making the film "Unearthly". Pop was dressing, or "decking" the area in preparation of filming in that area when "Legs" suddenly emerged from a hollow part of the tree.

"See that HOLE in the side of that sleepytree!!?? Well inside is the BIGGEST SPIDERPERSON I HAVE SEEN IN EVERTIMES!! SERIOUSFACE!! HE IS CRAZYBANANAS BIG!! Yes!! His name is LEGS MCLAUGHLIN. He is a soopernice guy, but he luvs to scare peoples walking by!!
